I saw this on the EJ1 pic thread but decided to ask here so noone gets mad in that thread since i saw they said it was a hatch. But newayz i've been trying to find more info on this civic for awhile now. i believe i saw a glimpse of it on a tv show awhile back and been wanting more info/pics on it. Anybody?

Any engine swap is possible w/ proper fabrication

awhile back there was a hatchback w/ a 350cc V8 in it

and as much as p ple are going to hate me for bringing this up, in the movie "tokyo drift" it really was a real late 60's mustang and it really had the sylvia engine swapped into it for the film...look it up if u don't believe me (which you probably won't)

Point being, any swap is possible O.o

 

skyline RB motor, but yeah, same point

 

it would be fun to do if yo uhad the spare cash.

For that kind of effort, he may as well just put a vette engine in... probably would have cost him less too.

i didnt know RB motors say vtec on the valve cover...

 

i think he was referring to the mustang in f&f3 that had the skyline or whatever m4d jdm motor it was

 

too much money...to waste on a slowass ride.

14.2 is'nt bad considering all that crap in there
imagine if it was gutted might put down some really nice times

well it STARTED as a lighter weight car, i bet its close to the 3500-4000 lb mark

 

I would much rather have a CRX with an H22 under that hatch.
Someone has one around me and it is sooo awesome.

 

Like he didn't even have the original motor mount brackets shaved down...

 

Hell, I sure expected faster, but what do I know?

Edit; Just looked it up. It's a a craptacular ricemonster with 1000lbs of stereo and Bondo. That's why it's so slow.
