I can't answer your question directly, because I don't know what a b18 has for mount's. However, conceptually, the B18 should have a couple of attach point's on the block, just above the pan, for a A/C bracket to mount to. You should be able to use the bracket from your a/d and put it on the b18, in the same spot it was before. I think where you might have to make a change will be on the crankshaft pully. You will need to either get a crankshaft pully to run the belt on your a/c or you will need to get a compressor for a b18, or you will need to get a replacement a/c clutch to match the crankshaft pully. Generally the b15 used a v-belt, but I think the b18 uses a ribbed type of belt. You just need to match them up.
On your transmission, if you replace the HF, are you interested in disassociating yourself from it and where in CA, might you be. I'm in Ventura.

get the a/c mount from hasport. you can bolt up your old ac compressor on that.
if you can find a non grinding b16 tranny for a good price, get it. shorter gears.
unless you want boost, then just get the b18 trans
