Strut bars won't do squat in terms of body roll. Any difference they make in turning is miniscule. What you should be looking for are sway bars.

i guess i wouldnt say that they dont do anything then why would companies spend the time making them if they dont do anything.

i wouldnt say they dont do anything, they do stiffen the chasis since we do have unibody vehicles, will u notice the difference not really, unless you have a full sway bar kit.. And for most street cars i dont see much of a point. Unless you plan to use it as a race car i would spend your money else were..

cheapest and most factory looking upgrade is the oem bar from the cl and tl type s cars. i think it's $50ish at the local parts dept but maybe cheaper online. i know it fits the 6G v6s; not sure about the i4s though.

Check the sig... I have an Acura CL-S front sway bar and an Accord V6 rear sway, and it has made a very noticable difference on my car. That however, may be because I lacked a rear sway bar to begin with. However, the 27.2mm front bar and 17mm rear bar seem to work quite well for me. I will be buying a CL-S strut bar soon as well.

why didn't you install the TL/CL-s rear sway? its 2mm thicker and would have improved your handling more then what you ended up going with, and its not that much more expensive. the EX/LX accords come stock with 17mm rear sways.

Because I was able to get the TL-S & Av6 bars for $20. I havent come across a TL-S rear sway, but I am probably going to for over the cash for an Eibach or Suspension Tech bar.

Haha... Okay, let's go back to my post just one more time. This time, I'll separate it out...

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by philadd &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">1. Strut bars won't do squat in terms of body roll. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Okay, that was in terms of body roll only. With me?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by philadd &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Any difference they make in turning is miniscule.</TD></TR></TABLE>

That doesn't say they don't do anything in turning. Miniscule means "very small". So, replacing "miniscule" with "very small", it reads: "Any difference they make in turning is very small."

have you ever heard of the fast and the fustraded. as was said unless you track your car it isn't that much of an improvement. They will reduce the amount of body roll, but dont expect it to stay completly falt without some stiff springs and
shocks.
