B16 tranny on gsr?
who in here is running a b16 tranny on there gsr? and how do find it conpaired to the gsr tranny?
anyone got any 1/4 mile times with and with out a b16 tranny on a gsr? ( with the same mods ofcorse lol )

You will have better acceleration and your revs won't fall down as much with each shift because it has closer gearing and a better final drive.
The only downside is you will be close to 4500 rpm at 80 mph, so gas mileage will suffer a bit.

it doesnt have a better final drive. all USDM's comes with 4.4s. i have the b16 tranny on my GSR and i love it. the RPMs climbs alot faster and gives faster acceleration. its awesome for drag racing but horrible for highway because you'll be revving too high that u just wish u have the 6th gear to cruise. but its worth it
