i bought a 92 hatch the ecu plugs were cut off all you see if the long wires by the firewall but the plugs to plug in the ecu were cut out...

can i just cut my plugs from my 94 hatch and color match the wires and tape it up and work with no problem? are there the same amount of wires nd same color?

what would i need to do i already got my motor in there this is the last thing i need to do!!

I had the same problem when someone stole my ECU out of my EG coupe. They just cut the wires when they took it...

Unfortunately, when I tried to splice new ECU plugs back on to the car, a lot of wires didnt match, and there were a lot of the same color. But I still tried.

When I got done I was ready to start it up, and sure enough, i didn work.

So to make a long story short, I got screwed.

And got frusterated so I just put a new harness in the car...

 

so then there would be no way to make it work cuz i kinda already cut the plugs ughh this is soo frustrating.

so there is NO WAAY at all to make it work like that?

how would i go about removing my harness is it just one big peice that goes thru the cluster and everyone or is it just that one passenger side?

 

get a wiring diagram for both cars and take your time there may be some wires that are the came colors if that dont work get a new harness bt try splicing first just take your time and dont get mad if it dont work at first try different things on same colored wires

 

where can i find the diagram i tried searching..

so i tried to do the matching up the colors and there are some wires that dont match up

there were 5 coming from tthe car and 6 coming from the ecu plugs taht were different colors
