Default brake indicator light stays on....

after trying to reset my srs light with no success, my brake indicator light now lights up. it lights up and stays on only when im in first gear and past 3k rpm. could this be related to me try to reset my srs light?

i'll have to check the brake fluid level and pull off the battery terminal to see if those will help.

the only thing that cuts that light on is the switch on the e-brake lever, and the switch on the float in your brake fluid resivoir. unless you have abs then i dont know what to tell you. so check that fluid, and make sure the ebrake is down.

If you've got rear drums check wheel cylinders first. Thats what i've usually seen go bad and leak before anything else.
