My friend just got his RSX S back from Sleeper's here in CT. Were taking it to ETOWN on Honda Day The 12th. Just wondering what he'kll run with and w/o slicks?

SETUP IS AS FOLLOWS:

He will be the #1 qualifier in Pro4

add about a second to that calculator and it is always pretty acurate

 

He should be knocking on the doors of 11s. Is it gutted?

 

he made 415whp on 550cc?

 

he should make close to 400 whp..

 

No way in hell he is going to make 400 hp on 550's unless he converts to a return line setup and uses a hell of a fuel pump. He's going to need at least 750's and a walbro to reach those kinds of numbers.

His tuner said with those cc injectors they WILL be maxxed out but with rc1000 and a walbro pump whatd'ya thnk?

And what about with everything he has now, includingh FULL INTERIOR!

people do 350 ish on dsm 450s, why wouldnt 550's be adequate for 400 hp?

they would work.

I agree comp., is there anyway you can use post his charts to back this up I was pushing 400whp w/ 680cc and didnt max out them out but came close to it.

 

Every chart I found so far does not list duty cycle. Ask any competent tuner such as Jeff Evans how different the K series is from the B series especially in terms of fuel systems.

Or ask anybody w/ a JR or Competch supercharger on a DC5/EP3 w/ 550's. They will be maxed out at 8-9 PSI at redline.

I guarantee that you will make nowhere near 400 hp on 550's. It takes 750's just to get to high 300's. One guy over on CRSX has a Full Race Stage 2 GT kit w/ a Gt30R. He made 410 hp using 1000cc injectors and they were almost maxed. How the hell is he going to make that kind of power w/ 550's?

Or anybody have a datalog of their boosted RSX they care to post up?

hey im the one with the rsx .... i made 310 whp on pump gas with stock internals at 9 psi.... injectors weren't even close to running out!!!! .... now im sleeved ... 8.5 to 1 je pistons ... forged alluminum crower rods ... cometic head gasket ... apr head studs ... titianiam valves and SPRINGS .. ..KPRO.... walbro fuel pump .... 310 stock ill definetly make high 300's .... **** IT ILL GET SOME 1000S AND SPANK EVERYBODY DOWN THERE HOWS THAT SOUND BUDDY

there are alot faster cars here in CT than ur heavy RSX.
400hp, 500hp, dont matter w/ that chassis.
