Camber Kit
The oil change place said that I needed a camber kit. I got out and looked, my rear wheels are slanted in. I called the dealership and they said they don't have one. You guys know of anywhere I can find one?
Thanks
Thanks
but if youre only running the HFP 18's and the HFP suspension, I dont see how it would be lowered enough to warant a camber kit, or why it would leave your tires with too much camber....
Doesnt make too much sense to me....

Thats exactly my thinking.
Unless hes messed with the camber settings or something that he or someone else should not have messed with...

I know it's so f'd up. Got it all installed when I got the car, car is lowered little more than an inch and the back wheels slant in toward the top. The dealership and honda don't know what to do. They are so retarded that they didn't know what a camber kit was. They sold 2 of them like mine with the susp. and said that now it is my problem. I told them that comptech and SPC make camber kits, just like someone on here told me. I am waiting for a call back still, but don't you think that honda should have thought of this when developing the suspension.
On another note. If I keep my wheels like this the inside of the tires in the back will wear out. I had a buddy that never got one and he got a blowout at 70mph

FYI, the 'comptech' camber kit is made by SPC.
The cars come STOCK with some negative camber in the rear. Not a lot, but it's noticable. The oil change place might be the one's that don't know it's supposed to be there.
Obviously, there shouldn't be too much neg camber, so if it is a case where it's more than -1.5° - -1.8° I'd put one on for sure.

if the dealership told u that it's ur problem, then they have a problem. any honda parts installed at a honda service center are covered under ur honda warranty. notice all the honda's thrown in that. the warranty is there for a reason. and if it doesnt, then why pay a dealership over $800 to expletive up something u could have gone out and bought an aftermarket suspension kit for $225 and put on yourself and still have the same issue?
Called and talked to the service tech guy at the dealthership. He said that he was on the phone with honda-tech line and they would call me back. YA RIGHT. I am about to get a camber kit and send the dealership the bill
Just wonderring if your oil change dude had your car on an alignment rack while he was changing your oil. Just kidding. My wife's '06 civic is lowerred a little over an inch. We got it alligned as soon as possible and had the tow settings set to factory spec. We haven't experienced any abnormal tire wear with the added negative camber, it has actually worn the tires evenly across the tread blocks front and rear.
