Default Aftermath of Rollover

Well, the whoele story described here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=169186

It looks like I might part the car and sell it. Just need to get the idea how much can I get for this:

-Engine a and tranny with LSD
-Interior with red seats
-suspension
-rims
-ECU
-ITR air conditioner
-ITR exhaust
-something I missed

Other option is to seel the whole car. I don't have an idea about that as well.

Car details:
Championsip white 2001.
Red interior
17.000 km
I'm located in Toronto.

I just have a question in regards to your insurance. What do you tell the insurance company when they ask what happened to the car. Do companies even cover people race on a track?

Depending on how the car bounced (on how much the suspension got bent), I'd think it's rebuildable especially if you put a roll cage in it this time.

My friend at work that saw the pics thought so too.
Whatever you decide, good luck and glad to see you're still around and healthy.

Buy someone's stripped (by theives etc) ITR and just throw it all in. Even if you put all that stuff in a crapback you still won't have this:

If you do decide to part out then I'm sure you won't have problems finding buyers here. Keep us posted though.

It sounds like a major project, but swaping all the parts over to a gutted ITR shell sounds like fun. It'll be a weekend project.

Strange thing about those pix is they left the badges. Most of the time that is the first thing to get ripped.

I would buy an 89 civic hatch and throw it all in there...suspension, brakes and all. It would be a demon...

Make sure you part the car out rather than selling it whole. You'll get way more money that way.

I think you'll definitely do better parting it out than selling it whole, though this will take a lot more effort on your part. If you find a motivated buyer who wants the whole car, maybe you can do about the same as parting it out. My best guess based on my experience in the Toronto market would be:

- engine & tranny - $8500 CDN (maybe more since it's so low mileage)
- ECU - $250-350
- interior - $1500-2000 if you include front/back seats, dash, gauge cluster, carpeting, shift ****, etc. Red interior may be worth more, not sure on that.
- 5-bolt suspension conversion with rims/rubber - $2500-3000
- full exhaust - $500

Other things that are probably salvageable include the master cylinder, the wiring harness, the battery, the radiator and fan, intake chamber and piping, the exhaust manifold (header), driver's side door(?), hood(?), headlights(?), etc. You've got to be able to part it out for $15k+ CDN and you'd sell all this stuff very quickly I'm sure. There's tons of demand in Toronto for legit ITR parts. Depending on your finances, I'll jump on the bandwagon and suggest you buy a cheap hatch and throw all this ITR goodness in it. Check out the 'buy/sell/trade' forum on DSCR's website and ClubSi's 'For Sale in Canada' forum. Both will give you a good indication of market value in Toronto.

Best of luck and let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Cheers,
Dave
