All of these companies can make you an 88mm bore. I personally like CP.

Mahle has them as well (and they are off the shelf pistons), and Ross and Je can make them too.

The Mahle pistons aren't forged are they?

I have a set of Wisecos in my h22, 88mm bore. They are forged as well. Just about any company can make customs for you only a few offer off the shelf h22 pistons in 88mm. I also know that Ross has some as well too, the are 8:4:1 compression If I remember. Go to the Race Engineering site, they have lots to offer.

I wouldnt just drop any pistons in unless the block was honed properly to the correct piston bore and I always thought that unless the block has iron sleeves you shouldnt use forged pistons? Something about the sleeves in the h22? I know i have forged wisecos with iron sleeves now and I have no problems at all.

Because you have iron sleeves.

well yeah, forged pistons are known to make some damage to the h22 non-iron sleeves but mahle has some special coating on their pistons that they make em fully compatible with the h22 sleeves

They have a coating on the skirt, for higher friction and lower expansion. I've heard that the S2000 and NSX pistons are forged as well and tackle the problem in a similar way.

Considering Mahle is probably the largest OEM piston supplier in the world, and supplies the Ferrari F1 team among others, I'd say their product is solid.

I personally have yet to hear of someone fubaring the stock sleeves due to too much power.

yup, i have yet to find proof of a stock sleeve failing, its the piston rings and the pistons themselves that are weak.
