Default AEm Dryflow Filter

Do you have to clean a Dryflow filter on AEM intakes? Would you just take it off and wash if off with some water? I looked in the instructions but it didn't say anything about cleaning it.

Yes, you have to use the AEM DryFlow Cleaning kit, here's a link :
