Default Internal Screamer conflict with DEI Glass break Sensor ?

I have a few internal screamers in my car, and the past weekend I went to install the glass break sensor.

I used a diode to wire it all in, and went to test it.

When I test the shock sensor witha light impact the shock sensor chirps and then the whole alarm goes off.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and know how to avoid it ?

yea you are going to have problems if the screamers or what ever they are. Is close to the frequency that the glass sencer uses to detect glass breakage. You can try to fire the screamers off a wall or peice of plastics to change there frequency.

I don't know what a screamer is but you can adjust the DEI glass breakage sensor via the little ****.

I'm assuming that "screamers" are piezo sirens...

Yeah sorry for the confusion, the screamer is a piezo siren.

When it chirps the alarm goes off full boar after a sec or two.

I will try the adjustment on the glass break sensor, I honestly didn't think the adjustment would make a difference but its worth a shot

I put piezos and glass breakage sensors in most of the car alarm installs I do on the side, and never had this problem. My girlfriend has a piezo inside and a glass breakage sensor, no problems. If you rap your keys on the glass, it goes off. I guess god just hates you. Sucks.
