Default p28 or p08 with hondata?

I was planning on using a p28 w/hondata with my soon to be LS/Vtec setup. My friend has a p08 I can probably get for really cheep. Would there be any difference in the p28 and p08 when using hondata? The p08 is from a 92 Civic VX with the Vtec-e d15 engine.

I cant think of why it would not work. I know you can put the Mugen chip in the p08, so why wouldn't it work with Hondata?

Hondata lists the P08 as being "under development", meaning it doesn't work as of right now. I'd call them to verify though.
