Default IACV Problems!

Ok so I finally found out that I'm throwing a code 10 and code 14. Both of these are because of my IACV. I am guessing that I have a plug in the wrong place or it has gotten very dirty and needs to be clean. Before I take it off and start to clean it; does anyone know where I can see a chart with all of the ECU wires showing the wires color coordinated? This would help me out a lot. Thanks.

if your ecu is saying your iacv is bad then your iacv is probably bad. You could either clean it or get a new one. Or you can check and make sure the plug to the iacv is still getting the connection.

Well I'm trying to make sure I even have the plug in the right place. I had an extra plug that I could'nt find a place for when I did the swap. I looked all over and I need to make sure that its not the plug that goes into the IACV. Any help? thanks

If your engine is a JDM engine it probably didn't come with a evap perge solenoid valve, which may explain your extra plug. If your IACV is unconnected the engine will not run.

If it was me I would first check for a vacuum leak somewhere other than the IACV then take the IACV off and try cleaning it, if that does not work then buy a new one.

Bump. I fixed the problem. Believe it or not, the IACV plug was not plugged in. It was the plug that I looked everywhere for a place to go into. Thanks to this thread http://hondaswap.com/general-t...58603/
I was able to find the colors of each plug.

Thanks all for the help. The car idles perfect now. I still can't the the check engine light off and it is still throwing the code 10 and 14.
