The header will make it louder and more appealing to cops.

true true but the thing is that the sound wants 2 come out but theres not enough exhaust flow from the stock headers....thats wat i think....but cops dont really care for pigs they can pull me over all they want

i kno 4 a fact dat its i-vtec cuz its says right there on the intake manifold cover n dats how it came when i bought it....i think all rsx's come w/ i-vtec

it says it, but its not "REAL" vtec.... you should really learn more about that the car that you own. All as your car does is open up all the valves at WOT...

ok, so you're upset because its not ricey loud? What other mods do you have? The V2 won't increase sound to exhaust, you could get a race header or remove the cat for more sound, but it'll be pretty damn loud.

Low sound at low rpm is nice, its when you go WOT that you want that sucker to scream.

 

yea its sounds nice now that the exhaust is starting 2 break through a lil more.....

The K20A3 motor which is what is in your car and last gen civic Si has 160 hp and is NON- vtec... The type -s and other k series motors have real variable cam timing which is where you hear the real kick (cam switches over)... The K20a3 motor which is in your car does not have it. The car does not switch over to a more agressive cam, it changes from 3 valvles per cylinder to 4 valves per cylinder, so its not really v-tec.. I dont really feel like going more in depth since this has been covered many times (use the search tool). Additionally, with the 3 inch exhaust that you are running, you're probably loosing power. You dont need 3 inch exhaust on an N/A motor unless you have cams or a lot more power than what you have. Sorry to burst your bubble man

watch the tach and listen at 5800.. vtec is noticable, your base doesnt have it. sorry buddy, walk it off

yeap, your vid is btter Anyway, hopefully this will give everyone else an idea of what it "should" sound like. Does your car have a CAI and exhaust? Sounds like it should be a lil louder.
