short shifter for a B16A1?

short shifter for a B16A1?
Ok I was woundering if I ordered a short shifter for a 99-00 Si if it would work on the B16A1 tranny since in the Si they have B16A2? I know its the second gen of B16's bout is their really much of a difference?
