h22 engine using h23 tentioner stuff question
*Background*
Alright, here is the deal. I have a 4th gen h23 lude with a thrown rod. I picked up a JDM h22a and went to do the normal stuff. I ordered a timing belt, waterpump, auto tentioner, and valve cover gasket. So I pick up the stuff, and at first, I inpect everything, and realized she gave me 2 waterpumps instead and left out the autotentioner. So she goes back, grabs a box that is the "right part" I go home, and I am working out doing the timing belt, and it turns out she didn't give me the autotention, instead just the pully above the autotentioner. And this is a 645, so honda is closed. I wanted to get everything all done by this weekend, but without that, its not happening.
*now the question*
Since I have the h23, I was wondering, is it possible to use the manual tentioner setup from that engine? If so, it would make my life so much eaiser, and there might be a chance I can get this thing running by monday.

You should have bought the manual tensioner in the first place.. It's much more reliable and safter than the auto...
