I just bought a new car but the paint is really faded. It's not peeling or anything, but it has been painted before by a really crappy shop with a really crappy paint. The body looks pretty straight, and minimal dent repair is needed.

I'm in the San Jose area and would like a recommendation on any body shops that use quality paint. I'm willing to spend up to $1200. Thanks!

 

I know a good place in Mountain View, had a few cars done there before and they took good care of them, Federal Auto Collision (i think thats right) in mountain view on Old Middlefield Way.

also if you can post the price you paid, and exactly what they did i.e 3 stage paint, removed windows, etc that would be great!

 

I dont have any pictures of the cars, I have a car currently there, they werent there so much to be strictly re-painted, like the car I have there currently was in an accident so I need them to fix the front end and stuff, I would just go down there and pay them a visit and take a look at the work so you can some first hand experience with what they do...just found their business card, there number is (650) 691-0617
