Default Rear Disc Conversion

Is a rear disc conversion really worth it, like what makes disc brakes better than drums?

1. They look better.

2. They are easier to replace the brake pads.

3. No annoying drum brake squeak!

That is pretty much it though.

Yeah I know they look A LOT better, but other than easier replacement and no squeal(which I didn't know, thanks) is there benefit to performance from it? And which rear discs would be ideal for a 91 civic HB?

What difference would it make tohugh? Like do they brake harder, or last longer or something? Oh yeah also would any rear disc be good or would a certain car's rear discs be better? I was looking at some 90-93 Integra rear discs, are those good, and whats the average price for them? Sorry for all the questions.

That's strange I can think of a few other racers who don't bother with them.

I do keep them in good shape and have new shoes though.

My car stops a few feet shorter since I did it. My drums didn't work very well, but it may have just been because they were old and original, althought the shoes were not in real bad shape.
