Default Suspension problem

A couple of weeks ago i made a thread about how the passenger side front of my car kept making a clanking noise. A couple people suggested a few things and i looked into it.

I put the car on a lift and took the front tires off, and when I would put pressure on the driverside suspension, everything seemed to work correctly. But when I did the same thing to the passenger side suspension the spring would bend under pressure to one side (toward the wheel wel). Does that mean the left front strut is blown? I asked this one mechanic but he kept telling me nothing was wrong with my suspension and that when you lower a car, it makes noises like that, but it wasnt like this before.

SO blown strut???????, really need some help becuase its really annoying/embaressing
