Default Removing Rust from Lug-nuts

Here is a closeup pic of my wheel:


What's the best way to remove that rust from the lug-nuts? thnx

dang i was hoping for something easier lol
any solution i can soak em in?

otherwise i will just fork over the $50 and never use em in winter again

those are chrome plated steel nut, no stripper can remove that chrome(other than that chick from last night but that's another story)

spray some wd40 or silicone lube on it, it will come back unless you spray some paint/clearcoat on the steel

just ask around for some newer lugs, the plating don't come off unless you use air tool or wrong size of socket

thanks, in that case i should just wd40 bomb the whole wheel well, ive got some rust growing around the front rotors too..

actually all you need is steelwool........ thats what i did.. and it takes the rust right offf.. 2bucks at the hardware store and 2 mins of your time..........done..

yeah i use them brillo pads all the time..removes rust easy and its cheap
