my f4i cycles between 180-220. usually 200 at a complete stop (at a red light or something) and around 180-190 while moving.

my F4i would run at 172 degrees while on the freeway, or any situation when running above 40mph. Then below that it would crank up to 190, and at a stand still, or slow traffic it would go up to 227 at which point the fan would kick on and cool it down to 210 or something. 235 seems a little high for the fan to be kicking in. 10 degrees hotter and you'd be shutting down your bike.

I have no idea the conversion, but my bike runs about 90 degress celcius on the highway, in stop and go traffic it gets upto 110 degress celcius, where it cooks my ***** it gets soo hot. Ive never had a bike that gets as hot as this f4i does, and its not just the operating temp, its like it transmits directly onto me though the frame or something, the radiator fans kick in at 110 celcius and bring it down to about 106-108. do the conversion im sure your bike is running fine danteisme, cause mine seems to run disgustingly hot as well.

I don't know about your fan issue, but when was the last time you changed the coolant?

My F4i ran about 180-200 when riding.

When I was at a stop it would get 220+ and at 228 when the fans would kick in.

i was wrong, my fans do kick on lower, they kcik on right around 227-8, it did get up to 235 the other day and the fans were runnin. i was mistaken. i let it run in my driveway today in the sun, so i guess everything is ok

stupid question, if it WERE to get up too hot, would there be a dummy light that comes on or whatever? its been behavin recently until today. i was at a long light and it got up to 238 and stayed there til i started moving again. it got there real slowly, but it got there. im not sure how much is too much so thats why im wondering if there is a dummy light to tell me, "dummy im too hot shut me off"

On ur guage cluster where the highbeam/turnsignal lights are, a block will light up red if it gets around 248-250 or somewhere around there.

That red light does pop up, but if you see your temp guage at above 240, you should be pulling off to the side to see what the problem is anyway.

I run anywhere between 170's to 180's on the highway (if I'm behind a semi or a big SUV, it reaches high-180's to 190's), and 190-200 around town.
