No no... Only need the Short Shifter..
Short Shift Adapters are not recommended and do not install an Adapter to a Short Shifter..

A true Short Shifter will be enough..

Here's the two we have to choice from:

I've had my adapter for about 2 1/2 years and nothing has gone wrong. I've always tried to get the shifter but when I'm about to order, something comes up.

It's actually a completely new shifter.. It drops the height of the Shifter, so it's not as tall. It also makes the throw shorter, much shorter than an adaptor can do (From what I've read at least), and I know the Forbidden Shifter there are different levels of "Throw Distance" to choose from..

So they look better, feel better, and perform better..

I've also read that the Adaptors can/could damage the tranny.. - Not a fact I'm giving you, just read this before..

I have also heard that the adaptors can come loose sometimes. Emagine that happening on the highway or just when you really need it basically. Not too comfortable with that myself. As well i hear that they arn't like completly sturdy and move a tid bit. Like i said i havn't experienced this myself, just some horror storys.
I just got my forbidden shifter. I am very pleased with the quality of it and cannot wait to install it.
