Default Removing Window Tint

so i bought my car with this messed up purplish window tint. I removed all the actual tint with a large razor scraping thing i got at a hardware store. However the tint adhesive is still on the window. I tried removing it with the scraper but it just smears it. I tried windex and that didn t seem to work either. SOO, how can I get rid of this crap? thanks guys

Razor blade and windex and/or steamer works perfect. I even had 2 layers of shitty tint to take off.

Yeah, like one of those small ones. Something like this http://images.google.com/imgre...a%3DN
I'm sure one of your friend's or their parents have one, or I think you can borrow one from a grocery store.

spray ammonia and then scrape with the razor blade. it eats right through the adhesive. change blades often because they get dull quickly. and be careful of the rear defroster. just take your time and you won't damage the defroster.
