Next year's Champ Car was revealed at San Jose. Changes include paddle shifters, an F1-style raised nose, sidepod gills, and rear tapered bodywork (looks like McLaren's) with big rear wing endplates and another wing element down low that doubles as the rear wing mount.
I wished they kept the traditional sequential gearshift and low nose instead of making it like a Grand Prix car. I don't think there's ovals next year but the car supposedly had oval racing in its design parameters.

its great looking car, during the champ car race they went over the car. The car also has a starter on it, it appears very similar to the GP2 cars. After the San Jose race not sure if the starters are good idea.
Maybe the cheap cost will bring more teams. Supposivly one toyota Atalntic team is suppose to make the move so 19 cars maybe
