Crank Pulley came loose, now car won't start!!! Please HELP!!
I have a 1995 Prelude Vtec H22a1. I was driving to work, my battery light came on. Then I noticed that my power steering was gone. When I was pulling into work my car died. I checked it out, and my crank pulley (harmonic balancer) was very loose, and my a/c, p/s, belts were gone. I had the car towed home. I bought new belts and H.B. from Honda. I put it all back together but car doesn't start.?! I think my timing could be off. Would this stop my car from starting. Could it be my valves? Should I try to fix my engine or just get one from Japan? Please help!!

i can top that offer........i'll take it for much less, say $50??
is your timing belt tight? did any of your other pulleys move any? is the little key still inside the pulley? (small bit of metal that slides in through the gap in the 3 pulleys). if the key is gone.....i don't think your crank pulley would be able to spin properly, and the balancer and timing belts would get off timing. -- i hope that's what it is, because then you can just get the key and put it in there and everything will be fine, if you haven't already bent some valves. just make sure that the gears are still lined up correctly if that's it.
turn the crank over a couple times to make sure the gears are lining up to the correct timing after that.

I'm a little late replying to this but just incase someone does a search as I have done.
1) When your battery indicator light comes on in this instance means there is a break in the alternator to battery system.
2) The car died when you pulled into work because the car ran off you battery alone once there was a break in the system.
My guess is a fully charged battery wouldve probably cranked the car after everything was replace.

Does the car try to turn over?
IF you turn on your headlights, are they normal?
Sounds like a dead battery to me. If it does try to turn over, do a compression test. Could of screwed up alot more.
