Size difference between 205/50x15" in Falken Azenis and Kumho VictorRacers.
Just thought this would be an interesting comparison and didn't even thinking about it when I stacked my two set of tires together:

Falken Azenis is on the left and Kumho VictorRacers on the right.
The Azenis are on 15x7" wheels and the Kumhos are on 15x6" wheels. Although that shouldn't make a difference.

new kumho esctra v700's are like that too (seemingly wider than the sizedepicts) but i didn't know the azenis were like that

Well they are both resting on the sidewalls of the tires and not the wheels themselves. So I would think that the wheel width wouldn't make a difference. It might make the tire bow out or in differently but should affect the width of the tire/contact patch.

I had a set of 205/50/15 kuhmo's sitting unmounted next to a set mounted on 6" wide wheels... the stack of unmounted tires were significantly taller when stacked up together next to the mounted ones...
I guess the most objective way to compare then would be to stack them side by side unmounted... Even still, the Azenis are forkin' huge for their advertised size.

Actually, that makes a huge difference. Rule of thumb = 1" rim gain = 1/2" tread width gain. If you had the exact same tires on both sets of wheels, there would be a 2" difference in the stacks.
That's exactly what I said. They are definitely not 205/50x15" more like 215/50x15". Some of you **** retentive people need to get a grip
