Quick question.

I want to put a stock CD player in my ITR because I really don't care for aftermarket decks. anyways, I was planning on a stock ITR one for my car, but then forgot that 99-00 SI OEM cd players are amber lighting as well, and since I have honda badging and such everywhere on my car, why not pay attention to details?

so, does the harness match up perfectly, or is modification needed and if so, how hard is it?

Yes. Should plug right in. However, I don't know for sure if the mounting brackets will work... They should, but might need some minor modifications...
