Default turbo dropping oil!

running a junkyard garrett t3 .48/.61(xr4ti), open downpipe which exits straight down in front of my traction bar. turbo dripping oil out of the exhaust side, when it revs, blows oil out of the downpipe and smokes like a freight train, not like quarts of oil but a definate leak. what do yall think? by the way, no oil in the charge pipe.

Get a rebuilt kit for your turbo or get a new one.

But before you do that, get a restrictor and see if you can get rid of the smoke by reducing the oil pressure.

not to be dumb, but what is the principal behind a restrictor, and how do you know what size you need?
