im selling my 1 sub and 2subs box to a friend so i can keep one sub and inherit his box. im selling my one W3 and sealed box for 175...sounds fair enuff? well he also has a single sub box for the one im going to keep. its a ported box he says. i liked the way my W3 sounded in the sealed box. which type of box is better for a W3 in a gsr? some say a sealed enclosure would hit harder but if not i would be glad to take his box. or i would just get another sealed single sub box. wat should i do?

 

Well, I have a 95 gsr myself and a sealed box is the only way to go. I have 3 JL 12w3 subs and it pounds like crazy! Stay with JL.

I ran three 12w6's ported in the trunk of a 98 GSR.

 

I am running 1 Rockford Fosgate HE2 12" in a ported box...it sounds badass. I was running a sealed box for quite a while and it just couldn't compare.
