Default Brake squeek

H dudes, I am experiencing squeeking noises from my passenger side front wheel only when my car almost comes to a stop. This is with the brake pressed. Anyone knows what could be the problem?

What pads are you using? Are you sure its not a grinding?

Are the pads new?
A lil dab of "anti squeal" grease on the back of the pad will knock that out.

The pads still have about 70% left. The disc has some grooves in it which could be caused by these high temp pads which I have no idea what brand they are. The squeek goes like "yee hor" repeatively but only when the car is about to come to a complete stop. Sounds rubbery.

remove the wheels, and inspect the pads and rotors for wear or available life left. check to see if they are near the pad indicators if so equipped. Also check that the caliper pins slide easily.

if there is enough life left on the rotors and all youre concerned with is the squealing, you can get a cheap set of raybestos pads from Autozone and some of that disc brake quieter gummy stuff and apply it to the back of the pads and make sure to use the pad shims. because it sounds like your pads are either an aggressive compound and/or at the end of their life.

mine is doing the exact same thing. I just replaced mine with brand new pads. I think it's because i didn't apply enough "anti squeal" grease on the back of the pads. Im too lazy to take it out and re-grease it now, im hoping that the noise will go away by itself. It's actually pretty damn loud on mine.

My pads have more than 10mm thickness on them. This does not include the base of the pad. I guess it must be some anti squeek grease I need to apply. Can't see if there's a shim there though. No time to remove it to check.
