valve problems?

if you valves are not adjusted right what kind of problems can you expect any wierd sounds?

I know i need mine adjusted, because they make a clicking sound when the car is at idel.

do they also click/tick when the car is revved? and not just at idle..?

i checked the compression yesterday and the first cylinder was like 60 points less than all the other cylinder's so i concluded that it must be a bent valve.
