My car has started cutting out whenever I am in low rpms. I loosend the distrtibutor and moved it up a little bit and then it would run fine. Then after driving it for a while it would do it again. Is my timing off or could it be something else?

 

could be a bad sensor or try raising your idle up a little it could also be you timing off a tad use a timing gun to check that

 

I adjusted the idle but it dont seam to help

 

it could also be your throttle body maybe it closes all the way try cleaning it or replacing it completely its happened to me before

I will try that. The spring was stuck clesed where the throttle cable goes in before i put the motor in. I had to put alot of forse to open it and I wd40'd it and it was a little better

I think it might be my Throttle position sensor. I noticed that it is broken

 

i dont think itll cause it to cut out but hey worth a try and again good luck wit that
