Default GPW AP1 Tinted windows help

Hey guys, i have an 03 GPW and lookin to tint my windows possibly. It is just Slammed on RA's and was wondering if anyone has pictures of a car similar to mine with just a slam and white. If not, any white one will do. Any info on how much itll cost (50 bucks? due to small windows?) and what % should i go etc etc. Thanks.

If you want to tint your windows yourself, that link is to a place that sells pre-cut window tint. That's all.

I think he meant $75 for the front two, which is about right.

I'd go for 20-35%. 50% is the legal limit here and it's too light. I wouldn't go any darker than 20%, because you can't see very well at night. (I had 5% on mine )

I have %50 executive on all my windows including windshield. It looks more like 35% with the dark interior. Check out this link clikc auto tinter on the left and you can see what each make and shade looks like on a car.

I had 30% on the sides and rear on my S. I didn't want to go darker since the cops in my area like to pull over ppl for tint. I never had a problem though.

yeah they do... just put on some limo mirror tint and watch what happens. You'll have cops following you, like bugs to the mysterious blue light.

I was told by 3 tint places that they cannot tint my AP1's back plastic window. What the heck.

Get a hard top or do a glass window conversion.

I had 5% on my S14 and whenever I got pulled over, I made sure to roll both windows down all the way. I never had a problem.

Here's my gpw, 5% on sides and rear, 35% on entire front windsheild I love it! You cannot even tell the windsheild is tinted when the top is down but when it is up with the windows up you cannot see in.

How the hell is THAT legal?

Secondly, doesn't that really hinder your ability to see? Especially at night? You're crazy...

Not really, You seriously cannot tell the windsheild is tinted at all. . It just causes a reflection that makes it hard to see in. I have very very light sensitive eyes. It is almost like I have cat vision. I have had 5% on all my cars. So i am used to it.

However, it is not legal. But I live in KY and cops out here are normally okay about window tint.
