Default wagon WON'T STAY RUNNING!

here's the scoop in as much detail as possible:

- 2 days ago, driving home battery light comes on (usually alternator) i made it home and parked for the night.
- next day, won't start. got a ride to work
- that night, changed the alternator. jump started the car, ran until about 2 minutes after i took off the cables.
- one by one the electrical components stop working. First the tach stops, then stereo, then lights and finally car dies.
- took the NEW alternator back out to get tested: PASSED
- changed possitive battery terminal
- replaced valve cover ground and battery ground cables.

same problem. WTF IS GOING ON!

2wd civic wagon w/ DPFI - MPFI swap.

something must be drawing an INSANE amount of power... the alternator is NOT charging the battery.

if you've had any kind of mechaniking lately recheck everything you touched. Once I accidentally pinched the starter wire between the tranny and engine when I bolted them back together and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why everytime I tried to start the car it smoked the battery and battery cables off. hehehehe.

sometime the test on the alternator is not right . go back to basic . it is the alternator and ground points.
