could you guys tell me which of these turbo's if any i should buy

it would be for a stock b16a2
edit= im looking for about 300bhp max if its possible on a stock motor and as wide a power band as possible

we need to know desired hp, and where you want the power.

 

i mainly want to know which ones are XS power in disguise and which of the second hand turbo's would work well on a b16

dont buy any of them. a straight t3 isnt gonna get you 300whp.

 

i wouldnt buy any of those.....they all look like junk

 

300bhp about 250 ish whp
any of them good enough for that

 

go GT2871R .64a/r so you dont have to wait for spooling all day long and is good up to 460hp

 

I still don't understand how ebay can let people sell that junk. Those turbos are very poorly built, there's not quality control or anything of that nature. spending 200 bucks in that turbo is like throwing your money away.

For a cheap turbo go with a Garrett T3/T4, they come in a variety of sizes to fit specific applications/power levels.

A 47 trim would be as small as you could go and even then you would need to run a descent amount of boost to do that.

There is always the good old 57 trim that would do it for sure.

The most important thing that you need to consider is what your budget is and what your goals are. You have said that you want 300bhp.. well how much boost are you willing to run? What octane of gas are you going to be running? What kind of engine management?

There are so many thing that you really should call a vendor that you feel comfortable with and talk to them about what you are trying to accomplish.

There are 100 different ways to get to the goal you want. It is finding the one that is right for you that matters.

 

there isnt any tuners in the uk that i trust after having been ripped off with crap work in hte past by a well respected tuner

the last turbo that i posted is also from another respect tuning and styling company that just happens to sell on ebay as well
