Companies I have had good parts and experiences with over the years:

Suspension: Tein, Eibach, Progress, Skunk2, Neuspeed, B+G, ground control(eibach owned), APEXi

Engine: Hondata, Skunk 2, Jun, AEM, K&N, DcSport, Toda, Aeromotive Fuel, Walbro Fuel Pumps, RC injectors, Earls fittings, APEXi

Not too much on looks, as I like to keep my car pretty simple on the outside.

Interior: Sparco, OMP harnesses, Ichiban, Anything except APC, APEXi, AutoMeter.

What year is the RSX that you're going to be getting? Got some springs for sale and I noticed you're in the 562.

You will never regret coilovers or a good set of tires wrapped around the right wheels but most people will tell you to hold off on the body kit. 99 percent of the time when people see a body kit they think "rice" unless you have an intercooler in the front or race more than on the weekends.

If you could vision the car what would it look like when it is done?
Do this and it will give you a good path.

One of the best ways to figure out waht you will want is if there is any local autocross or road racing around you go check it out and ask waht people are using and see how they like it.

Don't forget, 99% of the time you get waht you pay for!

I suggest you actually get the car first. You never know what a used car will come equipped with. Do a little searching here and you can see what hundreds of folks have already said about different parts.

Just to give you some direction, always start with suspension and tires. It doesnt matter how much power you have it you cant handle it.

http://www.clubrsx.com for the most specific info on the rsx.

What are you planning to do with the car? Drag? AutoX? Street? Daily driver? Show? From there we can help more as every product has a specific setup and use.

It will be a daily driver.. but I wanna look sexy and fast while driving it... theres allways that pesky ford or chevy that wants to test you. I drive a 97 camary right now and thats just not doing it for me. And hopefully i will get a 06, but there are some decent used with nice mods out there..

stick with the k20...why are you gonna waste your money buying a new motor on a new car?

and if it is daily driven, you should go with the supercharger

Go Turbo. You will be fine with daily driving and you can make so much more power for the money you spend. So lets spend about $3,500 on a SC (give or take) or piece together a good turbo kit for $2,300-$2,500 and make much more whp and wtq. And the good thing about that is you can get either a MBC or EBC and up your boost. 6lbs would be perfect on daily driving and you can always up it when it comes time to running at the track. What type of RSX are you really looking for. The k20a3 has a pretty low CR and can accept boost a little better than a k20a2. Keep in mind of what program you want to tune with as well. A tune is the key element to building up the motor, especially with FI. I've heard good things about Kpro but I would go with any Hondata unit. S200w/boost is great but I've heard the S300 is even better with much more to offer. If you really wanna spend the money, AEM's EMS is a great way to go. Hope I can be of some help. Good luck with the purchase. oh and BTW. Base models are less expensive on insurance plans then a base. And even with a base model, you're getting the same great looks and a great motor if you plan on FI.

When i do get the car I plan on havin these mods done within the first 6-12 months. and also tru, ive gotten over the whole body kit, a friend in a scion club knows a few shops with nice exterior mods so i think im set on outside of car..so mostly now i need info on under the hood.. I like to plan things in advance so i think this project is gonna come out nice..... thanks again all for comments

Also, why spend the money now on an intake if you're just gonna get some charge piping later on? Think more of exhaust and suspension for starters. Tein is an excellent company for suspsension mods. Skunk2 is a really rough ride ( know from experience ) Once, you're able to address the suspension, you'll be able to handle well through the turns and when you've got some boost and great suspension, you'll be able to go into the turn a little harder and exit much faster then you would on a stock setup. Just don't spend money on things that aren't needed that you're gonna replace later on like an intake or header. Good luck man. I'm new to the Dc5 community as well and I'm learning new stuff everyday. Things are a lot different from my Ej8.

good advice, I am turbo and even though I would have less power with a supercharger, since it is my daily driver, I will be parting out the turbo and going SC for daily driving.

Some people don't mind it as a daily driver. Boosting is always a pain though, a loose screw, a scrape in a hose, any small thing can throw the system off... plus it kills the life of the engine by almost half. But it is super fun

So my vote for what you seem to be looking for is a race supercharger (still more timid than it sounds) to put you around 250+ w/ a type-s

I hope you mean WHP cuz if you're doing a type S at 210 Chp what would be the point on making another 40 horses and spend over $3,000 for a setup. That is just stupid and a waste of money.

i know that a turbocharger will give more power than a SC but i travel at least 80+miles everyday and i was told to go with a SC to be on the safe side since i travel hella far...

i know that adding a SC or a TC doesnt do much to your gas mileage, but i was wondering which one saves more gas...
