battery problem

Default battery problem

i just got a new battery. i thought my battery was weak and got a new one, but problem still occured. i mean i have to idle my car up to high rpm to ge a 12+ volt reading. when idle head light. guage all light all around gets' brighter, releasing it cause it to dim. i even have to idle it to roll up my window and for my cd player to play louder. weird. could it be my alternator?

quite possibly. I know the dimming headlights and slow moving windows is normal for Honda. Never heard the radio thing. Do you have alot of aftermarket stuff hooked to the battery?

msd ignition, guages,hondata s100 for electronics. camgears, camshaft, pulley, crank pulley if that's an issue.

Your underdrive pulleys could be the problem, or a loose alternator drive belt.

Smaller crank pulley and/or bigger alternator pulley will make your alternator spin slower.
