Look up posts by an old member Spade. He wrote the book (on here) about passing BAR. If its a JDM motor theres alot of converting (to USDM) that you need to do to pass.

i dont understand why people here in cali go crazy for JDM motors when they still convert it to USDM spec. it costs more and is not worth saying, "yea its a JDM blah blah blah". no one cares.

You need to look in the archives for his threads.
JDM motors have more c/r then USDM. Even though you convert it to USDM the internals make more power.
