Default how to remove chip if already installed in ecu

so i boiught a "stock p28" and hey look it comes prechipped . its not socketed, so im having trouble removing the old chip. i got some de solder braid but its not working. can anyone help me??

Just snip the added jumper and it will go back to stock. You can leave the chip sitting there.

The jumper you need to cut is J1.

Ha, thanks. I couldn't remember which one it was.
