96-98 fog light interchangable with 99-00?

96-98 fog light interchangable with 99-00?
I'm getting ready to buy a replacement fog light for my 99-00 set. The seller is saying that it came off his car which is a 96 civic. Are these fog lights interchangable? Will his mount up to my kit? I'm assuming he has the round fog light and not the square one.

there are round ones for the 96-98, just not as popular as the square ones.
