Help VSS broke!
Well to make a long story short, my ECU has been flashing code 17 for a couple of days which is my VSS, it has been working fine, so I ignored it. Today on the way home, it took a **** on me and now it only reads 0 MPH, so my VSS needs replaced.
Does anybody have any instructions on how to replace it? I've never done it before so any help is appreciated.
Also what kind of VSS do I need to get? My car is a 91 CRX, but has a B16A swap.

depend did you convert it...
the 91 crx has cable Speed sensor.
It's pretty easy...
you disconnect from the tranny and from the cluster.. I think there might be one bolt holding under the dash... Not sure yet..
Going to take mine out and convert it to Electric sensor this weekend.

yeah theres one bolt under the dash. its easy, i replaced mine about 3 months ago, believe it took about 30-45 minutes.... taking the cluster off and unpluging/repluging the clips should be the hardest part (cake walk) its easy! i had no idea what i was doine either since ive never had to replace one

It's the only black cable going into the tranny. There is a horseshoe clip holding it in the tranny. Pull that rubber boot up, remove the clip with some neddlenose pliers(Don't loose it!) Pull that cable out of the tranny. Unscrew your instrument panel. Unplug the vss from the back of the speedometer. Pull the cable in through the cabin. Reverse process with new VSS.
