z6 vs zc

im not sure if im in the right fourm but i want to know witch one makes more power cause i have both motors i did search but came up with nothing

i believe they are about the same as far as power output goes. but i'd choose the z6 to build.

honda chose to keep using the sohc vtec instead of the zc. fwiw.

zc is a headache to work with. but i would just get whatever is easiest to find.

What ZC are you talking about?
OBD0 DOHC ZC
OBD0 SOHC ZC
OBD1 DOHC ZC or
OBD1 SOHC ZC VTEC.

Both the OBD1 SOHC ZC VTEC and D16Z6 are identical and push out the same power. If I was in your shoes I would keep the ZC because most likely it will have fewer miles, it's you call.
