Alright i just got my a/c manifold in today. everything seems to be ok except im confused about the coupler. The one below is the low side coupler. but im having trouble with the high side...It doesnt want to clamp onto the high side port. i took a high side port converter(for a r12 to 134a retrofit kit) and that high side does the same thing that is on my car, it doesnt fit all the way into the coupler. do i need to go buy a high side coupler at the auto store? i got the set off of Harbor Freight Online so i dont want to wait for themto send me a new kit.

also the instructions say to turn the ***** on the coupler all the way clockwise so it closes them...when the low side is closed b4 i put the thing on the low side port on the car, the gauge still gest a reading, does that mean both are defective?
