EJ1 Power Windows are slow
Was going to ask, what's the exact problem when your window motors are becoming too sluggish? Is it just the motor going out? Or some other nice electrical problem, because I just put a new battery in my car. The worst on my car is the passenger window, it's so slow

well yea i know how to remove door panels thats easy, but then after i do that, i spray the inside door where the windows go up and down with silicone spray and spray the regulator with wd40?
Im having the same problem and someone posted in my thread to try a new switch and odd enough when i used the passenger switch to roll my passenger window up, it seems faster, rolled up 1 second faster actually. Maybe i better try this grease for the metal. Any pictures of what this substance looks like...bottle wise. Thanks

no no no .. lithium greese in the tacks. That is what the window slides up and down. Take your door panel off, look in the door skeleton and roll window down, what the window slides down.. greese that.
Use the WD40 on the regulator (scissor looking thing).

lol thx for explaining the parts of a power window :-P
Aight, WD-40 in the actuator parts that move, and lithium greese in the track, thx O.o
Hopefully it'll run smoothly
I had the same prob w/ my sunroof, it wasn't greesed enough, didn't pop up all the way b4 it moved back and put 2 scratches about 1.5 inches long in the roof on both sides of the sunroof, pissed me the expletive off, but greesed it up and worked fine since :-\
Thx
