header and exhaust combo...
im going to upgrade my exhaust on my gsr and i came across an F&S header and an ES oval muffler. good combo? i know the muffler is goin to make my car really loud and buzz which im not lookin forward to but it will free up some power. im gettin the header and muffler for like $240. good idea??? bad idea???
Edit: your in cali, I'd look into a DC Sports carbed Header.
and a World Sport exhuast, its almost like stock but good power.
Anything under 95db is legal in CA. even if the cops say otherwise.
There was a big thread on it not long ago

Ive never even heard of F and S , but the es oval is a good muffler . It wont make anymore power just doing a muffler though , you wont even get much power doing an entire header back exhaust .
I/H/E is normally for the mind and the experiance, it just makes it mor fun to drive.
it will give power, but nothing like boost will
but yeah I have never heard of F&S either.
so not so sure about that.

The only real feel of more power is that you will drive your car differently since the upgrades. Rev higher to hear the noise, etc.
Do what you want but stay as legal or as non-flashy as possible. Living in Cali you don't want the attention of the police.
