Default unconscious driving

just wana know if some of you R drivers grind gears sometimes by not paying attention when you shift and relax your left foot too much after pressing the clutch and griding when going to gear. just did this yesterday and it woke me up when i did 1-2 then grind. i felt bad for my lsd n3e

how bad is it when you grind by not pressing the clutch enough?

Golden rule that applies to pretty much everything in life: If you can't find it, grind it.

I like when I miss a shift, and get excited and then try to bang it in a second time. Then I yell at myself and put it in neutral to regain my composure lol

no grinds yet!

Are you talking about shifting gears in a car? I mean, I don't get excited like that.

Every now and then I'll get lazy and grind a gear. I change tranny fluid every 15,000 miles and daily drive my 97'. 9 years old, 98,000 miles and counting and my syncros work exactly how they should . Its not all that bad if its not happening all the time.

unconscious driving? Is that like driving when you've had to much to drink and everything is black or fuzzy?

^^ I think it's when you grab your keys, unlock your car, undo all your security, press the clutch in, turn the key, warm up, press the clutch in again, and shift into gear, then slowly start letting go of the clutch while giving it some gas but you actually don't notice that you're doing all that.

I thought you were talking about those SUV-driving fucksticks who try to eat a cheeseburger and talk on the phone while barreling down the road.
