Default DC Headers???? Good Buy or Not!!!

I was looking at getting a DC header for my 06 si, but i keep seeing in different topics that people are very dissatisfied with this product. So I am asking for some feed back from people who have this modification installed on there vehicle. Is it worth the three hundred bucks, have you had any problems with it? I am also asking for some feed back from people who did not buy this header because of poor quality. What exactly are the problems with them. Are there any other companies I can get a header from right now? Thank you in advance for any and all help you may be.

Or not! Dc makes a shitty product..not a quality part what so ever. Wait for a different brand header to come out.

I have seen others post that they have issues with theirs. Just wait for a better header to be released. I changed my mind really quick about DC headers once I started to do research. You can search for it in the FG coupe threads. You will find alot of info on it.

dc doesnt make bad products, they are good for the average everyday person. If you compare them to a highquality race header, then yes dc is crap.

well im sure if its happening enough, they will do something to fix it. And im sure when they do fix it, they will help everybody having the problem, my friends si got the race header and exhaust as soon as they came out, not one problem yet, and the sound is great, and a very noticeable power increase.

I spoke with AEM (DC Sports) and they said that they fixed the problem with the flex pipes. back in june. So if you have bought one recently you will be fine. But if you do have a problem with it just call them directly and they will fix it or send you a new one with in a week.

That is good to know. They should have tested their product better. Has anyone purchased theirs after this time? Any issues yet?
