Default Civic HB exhaust

im looking for an exhaust for a 2000 civic hatch cx with a B18b in it...
can anyone recommend a good exhaust? noise is not an issue, motor is stock, but its dropped a few inches so i cant have it scraping against everything....
looking for a clean aggressive sound... 50 dollar can sound...
thanks

you're looking to spend 50 bucks on an exhaust? no. you'll be looking at about $500 or less. or more if you're a big spender. i guess if you dont want to spend that much, you can just get a muffler? what do you think HT? im sure people on HT have some other answers and advice.

when you turbo your car, it will get significantly quieter. i would just make a custom exhaust. go to a muffler shop and get 2.5", 2.75", or 3" piping with any muffler of your choice. it wont be too loud because the turbocharger will act as a sort of muffler and you will want the bigger piping to be less restrictive on your turbocharger. and a big plus, it only costs around $100-$200.

i highly suggest the Apexi world sport. they are not too expensive and they are a nice quite sounding exhaust. and it looks nice too. i have one on my EG and love it.

here is a video of my car with it on there and a gutted cat.

and a pic of it, sorry about it being so dirty, this was the night i bought the car and it was not even road legal yet

first post, but I made the mistake of getting 2.5" and now that I have a turbo i am in need of getting 3". If you want to just go to a muffler shop and have them make you a custom exhaust, if you really are going to turbo you will want 3" so its up to you if you want it now or later

would i lose power while its not turbo? its gonna be turbo within less than a year... january to be exact... with a 3" full exhaust would i lose pressure?
what kinda header should i get? i dont really wanna waste money, but i want my ls to growl...
looking to not spend more than 1,200 in exhaust (header + cat back), spending less would be awesome though...

i'd say do that. i love this exhaust because you can keep the car quiet when you want to. i also have an Apexi GT header and love that also. even with the header it is still quiet. there are times i wish it where a louder, then i hear a honda with the ebay special fart pipe go by and remember why i love this set up so much

my buddy has a N1 on his ITR. too loud for my liking.

http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showp...62&postcount=5
scroll down a tad, he's selling one for a EG. you could use the muffler and sell the piping for like $100 and someone could just weld there muffler on there. he's asking "2something"

Why would you want a header?? when your gogin to turbo it later. You do know that it's different right? I would suggest to get everything later when your ready to turbo, plus you can save some money to get parts/tune.

ive never bought anything from ebay and put 100% of my trust into it.. im always kinda skeptical about anything they sell there, so id rather pay retail or buy something from HT..

im gonna go with custom 80mm piping and then put on that Apex'i 80mm N1... i hope it sounds well...

now i dunno what ill do for the header... any ideas that will compliment my future set up?
