89 civic no start when hot

Default 89 civic no start when hot

Hello my 89 civic is not starting when it gets hot.It looses it's spark.So I replace the dist. (complete unit) Car still does the same thing> HMMM I have not checked the voltage when it has not started yet.It only happens when I have no tools around.If If I wait 10-15 minutes it will start. Thanks

Main Relay is bad. Clean up and resoldier or replace it.
Go to a junk yard it'll be no more than about 15 bucks.

Unplug old one. Then plug in the new one.

The hardest part is reaching in and undo-ing the bolt that holds it down.
